Biography

Professor Rusch holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair and an NSERC Industrial Research Chair. She is an IEEE and Optica Fellow. She has received the IEEE Canada Fessenden Award for telecommunications research and has over 11,250 citations in Google Scholar. She is a leader in the fields of radio over fiber systems, spatial multiplexing in fibers, and a systems approach to integrated photonic solutions for communications.
